Truckers protesting high fuel prices blockaded roads across southern Italy, disrupting supply chains in Sicily, Calabria, Campania, Basilicata and Puglia, and parcel collection and delivery were suspended in parts of the region. Protests began to ease on October 22 after the government approved aid, but residual delays should be expected.
