Following Israeli strikes on Iran, major disruptions hit the supply chain as airlines canceled or rerouted flights to avoid Middle East airspace. Iran, Israel, and Jordan closed their airspace, while major airports in Tehran, Tel Aviv, and Amman shut down. As a result, cargo and passenger terminals have announced that they will not be operating over the weekend.
Airlines like Air India, Delta, Lufthansa, Emirates, and Qatar Airways suspended or diverted flights across the region. Carriers extended suspensions for routes into cities like Tel Aviv, Tehran, Beirut, and Amman into late June and July.
