Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) have reached an agreement in principle. The key terms have been settled, and both parties are now working to finalize the contractual language required for union ratification.

During this period, CUPW has agreed to halt all strike activity, and Canada Post has suspended its right to impose a lockout; meaning operations are expected to continue without disruption as the agreement is finalized.
